Dye Sublimation Scarf Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is One Stop Scouting, operating in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

  • This competition is open to all

  • Employees of One Stop Scouting, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

  • By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. How to enter

  • To enter, participants must submit a design via the official One Stop Scouting submission form by 16/02/26

  • Only one entry per Group/Unit is permitted unless otherwise stated. (You may submit 1 design per section within a Group/Unit)

  • No purchase is necessary to enter, and no payment is required to submit a design.

4. Design submission requirements

By submitting a design, entrants confirm that:

  • The design is their own original work.

  • The design does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, or design rights.

  • The design has not been copied, traced, or generated using copyrighted material without permission.

  • They have full authority to grant the rights set out in these terms and conditions.

The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these requirements.

5. Intellectual property and usage rights

  • Ownership of the design remains with the entrant.

  • By entering the competition, entrants grant One Stop Scouting a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the submitted design for:

    • Judging and assessment

    • Promotional and marketing purposes related to the competition

    • Display on websites, social media, and promotional materials

  • If an entry is selected as the winning design, the entrant additionally grants One Stop Scouting permission to produce and sell scarves featuring the winning design.

This license:

  • Is granted without additional compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Allows for minor technical or production adjustments (such as colour matching, sizing, or layout) while preserving the original design concept

  • Does not transfer ownership of the design to One Stop Scouting

6. Winning entry and production

  • The winning design will be selected by public vote.

  • The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • The quantity of scarves produced as part of the limited run will be determined solely by One Stop Scouting.

7. Prize

  • The prize will be a £250 Voucher that can be used for ordering Group Scarves.

  • No cash alternative is available.

  • The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

8. Marketing and communications

  • By entering the competition, entrants consent to One Stop Scouting collecting and storing their email address.

  • Entrants who opt in agree to receive marketing communications, including emails about products, promotions, and future competitions.

  • Entrants may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in marketing emails.

9. Winner notification

  • The winner will be notified using the email address provided within 30 days of the competition closing.

  • If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days, One Stop Scouting reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

10. Liability

  • One Stop Scouting accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received due to technical issues or circumstances beyond its control.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Stop Scouting shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

11. General

  • One Stop Scouting reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

  • These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
